Willow Park Council Member Place 2
"Securing a Bright Future"
I moved to Willow Park 6 ½ years ago with my husband of 17 years and three daughters. We quickly fell in love the caring, genuine people who live here and knew that we had found home. In 2016, I became active with the city, ultimately winning a council seat in 2017. I am up for re-election this year and humbly ask for your support.
During my first term in office, the city of Willow Park has accomplished more than anyone would've ever predicted could happen in such a short time. We've fixed wells, drilled new wells, and are about to close a surface water deal with Ft. Worth. Our sales tax numbers broke $1 million last year and businesses are on track to surpass that number this year. With this newfound revenue, we are fixing roads, improving water lines, and making plans for future parks. The new public safety building will be completed this year along with the quality construction of Ranch House Rd. We live-stream our meetings and have a level of open communication that stands in sharp contrast to how it was before I was sworn in. I'm especially proud of the healthy relationships that we now have with the county, our neighboring cities, and the state. Willow Park has become the shining star she was always meant to be!
We have experienced great success but there's still so much more that I want to do, including city beautification and parks projects, continuation of road repairs, assuring that the water pipeline project from Ft Worth goes smoothly, finding a solution to our waste water needs, and to also continue building the budding relationships on a state level that will expedite future transportation projects. I want Willow Park to be a place that our residents are truly proud to call home. I humbly ask for your vote so that I may continue securing a bright future for Willow Park.
